Your Dedicated Bookkeeper
Jeannie Rovira is a first-generation American and New York native who has leveraged her education and experience to create Marigold Bookkeeping LLC a minority-woman owned bookkeeping firm.
Jeannie began her professional career in 2004 when she completed her certification in Bookkeeping and Human Resources Management while working simultaneously for 3 companies (real estate, title insurance, and mortgage company). The real estate market crashed in 2008 and Jeannie pivoted her focus into furthering her education, she matriculated into college and graduated from St. John’s University with honors by 2014, the first in her family. While attending St. John’s University Jeannie used her analytical and project management skills and worked as an Assistant project manager in construction company throughout her collegiate years. Soon after graduating, her husband was transferred to Fort Bragg, NC. Jeannie established her home in Moore County, NC. After her husband was transferred out of state, Jeannie remained in North Carolina where her daughter now attends East Carolina University with anticipated graduation next year.
Due to her commitment to continuing education and over 19+ years of experience in bookkeeping specifically in law firms and real estate managing trust accounts, as well as medical practices, laboratories, construction, and retail, just to name a few. Jeannie has worked diligently to maintain her relationships with colleagues and co-workers alike throughout her career. Her passion for supporting others, professional development, and establishing authentic relationships with her clients has put her ahead of the curve.
In 2022, she formed Marigold Bookkeeping, LLC. She has witnessed the difficulty many businesses in different industries struggle from the startup phase to growth phase. As such, she has dedicated her business to helping small businesses. Jeannie has worked hard to become a QuickBooks Pro Advisor and is recently pursuing her certification as a Xero Certified Advisor to provide her clients with an array of options to fit their needs as well as providing training for business owners and their staff.
Today, Jeannie resides in Holly Springs with an office located in Cary and runs a staff of 3. She enjoys connecting with others in her community through a myriad of associations and speaking engagements. In her spare time, she travels and enjoys the occasional lazy day where she focuses on self care.
